Welcome to the home of the 2026 U.S. Sudoku Team Qualifying, held online here June 20-22, 2026.
Congratulations go to Lucy Epstein for taking the top qualifying spot, solving 18 puzzles and a total score of 230. Congratulations also go to Jordyn Hyde (225), Thomas Luo (205), and Yoseph Mak (180) for qualifying for the U.S. team, to compete at the World Sudoku Championship in Kolkata, India in October.
Suzhe Qiu (307.16) of China was the top international participant, finishing the full test with 8+ minutes to spare. Also receiving bonus for finishing Part 1 early were Kota Morinishi (290.23) of Japan, Freddie Hand (278.73) of UK, and Ken Endo (251.33) of Japan.
Event organizers give a huge thank-you to Rebecca Chang, Tyler Chen, and Tomas Snyder for creating a fresh set of puzzles, and to Tantan Dai, Tiit Vunk, and Tom Collyer for their valuable test-solving.
